As a business owner of a shop or establishment, you are compulsorily required to get the same registered under the Shops and Establishment Act. Here are the specific rules: Submit an application in the prescribed form to the Inspector of the area within 30 days of starting any work in your shop/establishment.
1. Pan Card.
2. A bank statement of the establishment of the trade.
3. Certificate of establishment.
4. Premises proof in the form, either electricity bill, water bill or sale deed.
5. Colour photograph, ID proof and Address Proof of the owner/partners.
